I think this might be my next DVD purchase! How did I not know that this existed?!
My favorite musical Anything Goes was immortalized on film by Frank Sinatra and Ethel Merman and I had no idea. Terrible.
This video is amazing. I think I was born in the wrong decade.
The show has been through MANY incarnations as it was one of the first American Musicals as we know them today. Sutton Foster and Joel Grey currently star in the most recent Broadway revival which opened a few weeks ago.
I'll be seeing that VERY soon I hope.
Enjoy the preview starring Frank and Ethel below. (PS - a match made in musical heaven, but an odd pairing based on looks... no?)
If you can't see the video head over to http://undiscoveredcelebrity.blogspot.com for the actual post.

AMAZING!
People must be eating a lot of snickers lately... I don't know how else they could afford this commercial!
This commercial is amazing. Hands down.
In fact... it's so amazing I'm going to buy one tomorrow. It wasn't my favorite candy bar before, but it just might be now.
Ok, not really, but after the Betty White ads, and now this? It's pretty damn close.

100% PERFECT (And I have to say... 100% Diva awesomeness)
The first touchdown of Superbowl Sunday goes to Jennifer Hudson.
I don't think I have ever heard a more beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner than the one JHud laid out for us on Superbowl Sunday.
The raw soul coming out of her mouth was unlike anything I've ever heard.
And as a performer I can tell you that it was NOT easy for her to do this. Three members of her immediate family were murdered not even six months ago... to get up there and sing that must have brought a flood of emotions back.
When you sing like that, you have to use every emotion you've got in you to deliver - and she did. You can tell at the top of the song that she is a little choked up, but the girl got through it and set a new bar (sorry Whitney). She put all those other pop stars who have performed the Anthem to SHAME SHAME SHAME.
ENJOY the clip here...
