I was 100% over Dane Cook and figured he would probably disappear forever... NOT SO SOON!

At the taping for the Teen Choice Awards yesterday (?) Dane thought he'd try to actually embarrass Vanessa Hudgens, since coming releasing nude photos once wasn't enough, or twice even...

It seems pretty obvious that Beyonce isn't singing live. Her voice is being run through a completely different system!! And there's auto correct in it.

However... I can't tell if the High School Musical kids are singing or not... I think they're lip syncing, but I'm not sure.

The Oscars.

Ok.

I thought the Oscars tonight were TERRIFIC!

The new format was absolutely perfect. It kept me watching, it kept me entertained, and at times it was very touching.

I loved the presentation format for the actor awards, with the five previous winners speaking of the nominees. It was actually really nice. It was interesting to see how the Hollywood heavyweights all interacted when they had to say nice things about their competition and and coworkers.

It was also interesting to see people complain, pretty much in front of the world... like Bill Maher. Sir... we all know you're not nominated, you're presenting the award in the category. Don't tell us how upset you are about it. Just because you're Bill Maher doesn't mean you should be nominated. Obviously there were five better choices. Let it go.

I thought the musical numbers were fun, but lacked something. Talent? Hugh was great and did everything he could, but obviously they had the wrong people writing these things. If you want spectacle, and pazaz, and something eye catching and entertaining... have it done by the right people. The Broadway people. Hollywood can't do it without B'Way's help.

I also can't BELIEVE Slumdog took so much home! I guess I'll have to see the movie. I really wanted Benjamin Button to take something in one of the major categories... but alas, it didn't happen.

Beyonce Sucked.

I know... it's rare, but it happened.

Beyonce sucked and sucked HARD at the 81st Annual Academy Awards tonight. S U C K E D.

The director of Australia and Moulin Rouge put together a little song and dance number celebrating the musical movie and the "comeback" of musicals in film.

Well, it seems to me that Hugh Jackman was the only person actually singing. Beyonce was canned, and canned her performance, and sucked. Zach Effron sucked... as did his arm wart Vanessa Hudgens. And the two kids from Mamma Mia sucked.

Why put these people on TV to sing and dance... if they're NOT going to sing and dance. WE CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP ALLOWING PERFORMERS TO NOT DO THEIR JOB! Why/who is paying them to do that?! It was awful. I'm really upset that they couldn't hire someone who could actually do both things for all this work.

Shame... shame... shame.

Sadly our boy Jason Mraz was up for three Grammys last night and didn't take home a single one.

COME ON!!! REALLY???

He is SO much more talented than half the people nominated. His most recent CD "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" is so amazing!

He should have AT LEAST walked away with Best Manufactured Album or something. Please.

Anyways... he's a super talent. The fact that he got nominated for three Grammy's is awesome. He's not going anywhere. I don't love him any less.
