Ke-dollar sign-ha...

So, I'm still not a huge Ke$ha fan. I just can't get into her glitter gun, I haven't showered, I'm original (yet copy a little bit of everyone) style and most of her music gives me awkward shivers.

However...

I can't stop listening to this song lately, and it's killing me.

Perhaps it's because there's a massive amount of James Van Der Beek in the video. Which could make anything better (HINT: Britney - if he had been in your "I Want to Go" video it would have been a LOT better.)

Here's Ke$ha's slightly awesome (a 6 out of 10) video for her song "Blow."

Haha.

Apparently there's been drama surrounding this ad. Doritos had a contest for fans to create their Super Bowl ad... this was one of the submissions and it's hysterical. I can see why they wouldn't air it during a family television event (it's a bit suggestive - gay or not).

It's still funny though.

Thank you, sir.

I really wish this man had stood up and said these things years ago. It was touching to hear him speak in such PLAIN and SIMPLE terms about our basic rights as human beings in AMERICA. People seem to forget what the Constitution actually says and stands for.

I want to give this man a hug and say thank you.

I also want to congratulate him for taming a Fox News correspondent. He had is tail between his legs at the end of this one!

GaGa and Cyndi tell it like it is.

This is a pretty awesome interview with GaGa and Cyndi Lauper on Good Morning America.

They're there to talk about the Viva Glam campaign with Mac Makeup that they're working with. Cyndi's been at it forever, but GaGa is just getting started with them.

It's a pretty good interview.

And I have to say... it is SO NICE to see artists really working for a cause. GaGa's only been around for two years or so and she's already working it out like someone who's been in the business for years. She knows she's got attention and instead of hawking some stupid shit she's talking about women and AIDS.

I love her.

And because she didn't hawk, I'll do it for her.

GaGa is selling t-shirts on her website for Haiti relief. Check those out here.

She's also selling some sick headphones with Beats called Heart Beats... they'd be a pretty special gift for a loved one on Valentines Day. Here they are. They come in a few different colors and actually consist of state of the art sound technology. They're comparable to Bose.

She's also got tickets to another leg of her US tour going on sale soon.

And don't forget to pick up the deluxe edition of The Fame called The Fame Monster. It has all 8 of her new songs on it plus the original The Fame album.

She was also cool enough to release The Fame Monster as its own CD just in case you already owned The Fame (other artists DON'T do this, they want you to have to re-buy everything, GaGa gets that all her fans have to work for their money) at $7.99. It's 8 tracks long and contains a little art photo booklet.

And I can't even begin to speak of all the amazing things Lauper is up to. Check out her official website CyndiLauper.com to see all the great stuff she's up to with Mac, True Colors, and more.

Ugh...

This is so amazing.

Lady Gaga took time out of her personal life to head down to DC during the Equality March to lend her support and perform for the thousands in attendance...

Instead of performing one of her own pieces (and attempting to sell albums at the worst time possible, like others might) she performed John Lennon's Imagine, and of course threw in her own verse or two and made it relevant to the event.

Needless to say it's pretty breathtaking.

I think John would approve (Yoko might sue, however...).

Enjoy.

Equality for all.

Craigslist Crazyness

Holy crap, I can't stop laughing.

I found this little gem on CraigsList.com's Missed Connections section. So amazing. So funny.

Talk about a walk of shame!!!!

In fear of the posting getting deleted, here it is in all it's glory:

I fled your apartment wearing only a bathrobe - m4m - 23 (Midtown West)

Date: 2009-09-05, 1:26PM EDT

We met at Vlada Bar last night, after which you took me back to your apartment in what I think is Washington Heights. Anyway, for some reason I decided to run out of your apartment wearing only a bath robe that I found. I then walked across the GW bridge, and was stopped by a police officer on the NJ side. He drove me back to Manhattan in his cruiser, and I proceeded to sleep in a park on the ground for a while. Finally I found a cab willing to take me to a friend's place. That same friend took me back to your place this morning, but I could not remember which apartment was yours. My wallet, phone, and all of my clothes are still inside your place, so please check my phone for a bunch of missed calls and then call that number. I very much need my things back, especially my drivers license as I will not be able to board my flight home to California without it and will be stranded in New York forever. I had a great time though! Please call me. Thanks!

SpongeBob... behave!

So, I've always thought of SpongeBob as being a bit gay. He and Patrick raise a child together, he dances a little on the gay-ish side, he sings, struts... etc.

This ad, however... cements my suspicions. It also leads me to believe Squidward and Patrick are also in the pink.

Check out this new ad for the recent episode costarring Johnny Depp.

Woah!!!!!!

I am so proud of my home state!

I feel like I made an impact by sending letters to my reps!

Maine has become the fifth state to make marriage 100% legal and EQUAL for EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Governor John Baldacci:

"In the past, I opposed gay marriage while supporting the idea of civil unions. I have come to believe that this is a question of fairness and of equal protection under the law, and that a civil union is not equal to civil marriage."

HORAY!

I <3

A good, quick read...

Here's a good quick read about the bible... the only part where it talks about men being together.

It's an essay (?) written by an ordained Christian woman...
