Ugh...

This is so amazing.

Lady Gaga took time out of her personal life to head down to DC during the Equality March to lend her support and perform for the thousands in attendance...

Instead of performing one of her own pieces (and attempting to sell albums at the worst time possible, like others might) she performed John Lennon's Imagine, and of course threw in her own verse or two and made it relevant to the event.

Needless to say it's pretty breathtaking.

I think John would approve (Yoko might sue, however...).

This recent online article really brings to light how much of our tax payer money goes to waste at the capitol. Why the hell is it a law that you "can not start or stop your car suddenly in front of a McDonald's" in AK?

President Obama wants people to what?!

Paint their roofs white.

Apparently a study finds that the lighter the color, or using a "cool color" on roof tops and highways could significantly reduce the amount of thermal energy absorbed by the planet from the sun. This would in turn reduce the rising temperatures.

This isn't an end all to the global warming emergency the world faces, but it could possibly slow the effects down a bit until we can control ourselves and live a more sustainable life style.

In other words this is just another small thing that can be done until people start waking the hell up and realize the planet is in a 911 phase.

but this week the National Debt clock hit 11 Trillion.

11 Trillion.

Obama wants to cut it in half before his first term in office is up... Lets hope for the future of this country that it happens.

The national debt clock is located to the right on the first page of my blog... check it out. Look at how fast it grows!

Also... here's a graphic going back to right before Regan. Look at how high it gets when the first Bush is in office! Then Clinton brings it down to 18 Billion, it's lowest in decades, and then the next Bush... just check it out.

This should be EVERYONE'S VDay Wish...
